Tiraspol, 19 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. For over an hour, a closed meeting of the JCC co-chairs from Moldova, Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation was held with the involvement of representatives of the OSCE and Ukraine. The sides voiced their vision on the final version of an agreement on the functioning of law enforcement posts in the vicinity of the bridge near the villages of Gura Bicului and Bychok.
"We were forced to take time for certain consultations and undertake this closed meeting of the JCC co-chairs in order to resolve our differences and find a compromise which would suit all the parties," said Pridnestrovian co-chair Oleg Belyakov in an interview with journalists.
But in the end the parties did not come to a mutual agreement. However, according to Oleg Belyakov, there is hope for an early solution to this painful issue.
"In the near future, I think, significant decisions will be made, including on the bridge across the Dniester River in the vicinity of the villages of Gura Bicului and Bychok, since even there the parties already find common ground," said Oleg Belyakov.
