Tiraspol, 11 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The management of FC Sheriff and Italian coach Roberto Bordin have signed a new contract, the club's press service reports. According to media reports, the agreement will remain in force until the end of 2018.
Bordin joined Sheriff in the autumn of 2016. Under his guidance, the club has won two Moldovan championship titles, become a national cup holder and qualified for the group stage of the Europa League.
Roberto Bardin, 52, played for 11 Italian clubs, including Parma Atalanta and Napoli.
He worked as an assistant coach in Bologna, Padova, Siena, Sassuolo, Verona and Romania's CFR Cluj.
