Tiraspol, November 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Russian State Duma deputy, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the CIS, the Eurasian integration and Сommunication with Сompatriots Konstantin Zatulin met with the Russian Interior Minister, the police general Vladimir Kolokoltsev, zatulin.ru reports.
The meeting was focused on the formulation of proposals by the Russian Interior Ministry in legislation and practice of consideration of applications for the Russian citizenship according to the order of the Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Konstantin Zatulin informed on his appeal to the president concerning simplification of Russian citizenship acquisition by the compatriots in Pridnestrovie being under the increasing pressure by the neighboring Moldova and Ukraine.
It bears reminding that, previously at the order of Vladimir Putin, the Deputy PM of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin created a special interdepartmental working group on this issue, and it was headed by the Deputy Minister of Interior Igor Zubov.
During the detailed and earnest dialogue, the sides agreed on the majority of the raised issues.
It is to be recalled that Konstantin Zatulin was the participant of the international round-table discussion "Political and Legal Bases for the International Recognition of Independence of Pridnestrovie" which was held in Moscow on November 21.
