Tiraspol, 10 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The government proposes to amend the law «On industrial safety at hazardous production facilities» to simplify the activities of the country's economic agents.
The government's draft law is based on the existing Russian law.
According to the minister of industry and regional development, Nikolay Gliga, the amendment suggests dividing hazardous production facilities into several classes. This will make the state oversight in the sphere of industrial safety more objective and will streamline administrative procedures for small business entities, noted Gliga.
The most hazardous devices and industries will be assigned to the first class of danger, and those that do not represent threat will be assigned to the third class.
«The third category, as a rule, includes small business entities who employ electricity, gas, simple household appliances," explained the minister.
Certain control measures will be carried out depending on the class of danger. The ultimate goal, according to Gliga, is to optimise state oversight so that it will become more business-friendly, but the safety and health of citizens will remain protected.
