Tiraspol, 4 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. During a presentation session, Kamenka Canning Factory and Tiraspol Meat-Processing Factory presented their business plans to the government.
The first presenter was the director of the Kamenka enterprise, Ruslan Spatar. The enterprise, established in 1958, produces and processes agricultural products and canned food.
At present, the number of its personnel is 208 people.
According to Spatar, the factory's share in the domestic market is 84%. The factory is kept adrift mainly due to its traditional products — green peas, sugar maize, natural juices.
«We finished processing green peas last week. This week we are processing zucchini for squash spread. Tomorrow we'll be pouring out apple juice in three-litre and one-litre bottles," said Spatar.
The factory's production capacity in 2015 and 2016 was 8.5% and 5.7%, respectively. In 2017, this figure is expected to increase to 32%.
The factory's development strategy includes: an increase in the range of products, in production and sales, as well as in jobs.
The factory plans to enter new markets both domestically and abroad. Until the end of 2017, it intends to upgrade the current production capacity and acquire new equipment.
The next presenter was the acting director of Tiraspol Meat-Processing Factory, Dmitry Terzi. The factory was established in 1944. The number of its employees is 96 people. The factory processes and produces meat products.
Its production capacity in 2015 and 2016 was 5% each year in canning and 12% and 13% respectively in the production of sausages.
The factory plans to maintain the production of canned food at the same level and increase the production of sausages to 6%. It also plans to upgrade refrigerating equipment, repair the roof and replace boilers. According to the director, these measures will reduce the cost of production and improve the quality of products.
