Tiraspol, 29 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The chairman of the government, Alexander Martynov, has met a delegation of the World Bank.
«The World Bank has long cooperated with Pridnestrovie. The cooperation has always been constructive and benefited the Prdnestrovian economy. I hope it will continue," Alexander Martynov welcomed the guests.
The government's press service reports that the parties discussed measures to support the development of the Pridnestrovian economy, the need for reforms in the public sector and government finance statistics.
«As for working conditions in the private sector, the list of regulatory documents, we are interested in continuing this work. The government is actively working on a road map to improve the business environment. The practices proposed by the World Bank would be helpful to us," said Martynov.
The permanent representative of the World Bank to Moldova, Alexander Kremer, thanked the Pridnestrovian premier for the warm welcome.
«The World Bank is not a political organisation. Our job is to improve people's lives," said Alexander Kremer.
Prospects and areas for further cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.
