Tiraspol, 26 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tiraspol's FC Sheriff won the Cup of Moldova, defeating their opponents from FC Zarya Balti. The match was hosted by Zimbru Arena in Kishinev.
The first half ended with a 0 — 0 draw, but in the second half Sheriff scored five goals to win their ninth national cup title.
On 30 May the Tiraspol club will face Kishinev's Dacia in the so-called «golden match» as both teams have ended the season with 69 points.
