Tiraspol, 5 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Vadim Krasnoselsky met Russia's State Duma member Kazbek Taysayev, the president's press service reports.
«Contacts with the Russian State Duma has always been important for Pridnestrovie. This is a good venue on which the country can tell about itself, its foreign and domestic issues. We are always ready to engage in dialogue on any matter," the president assured the Russian guest.
Kazbek Taysayev noted the special attitude of Russia's Communist Party to Pridnestrovie and its citizens. «Since the very first day our party has supported the Pridnestrovian people. This is the long-suffering land whose people have earned the right to live in dignity," said the Russian MP.
The lawmaker highlighted the need to jointly address the backlog of issues. One of the main problems, according to Taysayev, is the employment of the population.
«Pridnestrovie has sufficient opportunities for industrial and agricultural development, including a significant human resource capacity. We are ready to help you as much as we can. The only matter on which the views of State Duma parties do not differ is that related to Pridnestrovie. All the parties have a unanimous position about. This position was voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. We fully support this position and are ready to do everything to implement it," underscored Taysayev.
The sides also stressed the need to further boost the dialogue between Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council and Russia's State Duma. «A new agenda requiring new information support by Russia's State Duma is being formed today around Pridnestrovie," said Vadim Krasnoselsky.
