Pridnestrovie's Youth Parliament plans to cooperate with Khanty-Mansiysk colleagues

Young parliamentarians hope this will help to solve some problems of Pridnestrovian youth

Tiraspol, 9 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The plenary session of the PMR's Youth Parliament scheduled for 23 March will discuss issues of cooperation with the Youth Parliament under Khanty-Mansiysk's duma (regional legislature). Young MPs want to interact with their Russian colleagues, the Supreme Council's press service reports.

«We, together with Bendery's city council, want to establish the cooperation of young parliamentarians from Pridnestrovie and the Russian region. We hope that this cooperation will bring fruit, allow us to solve some problems of Pridnestrovian youth," said the speaker of the Youth Parliament, Alexander Savich.

Previously, the parliament had signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian political youth organisation Young Guard of United Russia and now it hopes to expand the geography of cooperation.

In addition, at the next plenary session young MPs will discuss personnel issues and plans for the work of committees and commissions in the next year. They also expressed wish to take active part in making laws and intensify interaction with the new government.

The 3rd Youth Parliament started its work in May 2016. Young MPs have already participated in various municipal, regional and republican actions.
