Tiraspol, February 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The International Acrosport Tournament «Stars over Bug» was held in Vinnytsya. Teams from Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Portugal, that is more than 100 athletes, took part in the competition between February 23 and February 25.
The tournament was held within five types of artistic gymnastics. Women's, men's and mixed pairs and also women's and men's teems contended for the championship.
The Pridnestrvian acrobats were also among the contenders for the medals within the national team of Moldova.
Trainees of the Bendery Sports School Dmitry Bargan and Antonina Shapkova became winners among juniors (athletes of 12−18 years old). Besides, the Pridnestrovian team scored more points, than the mixed pairs from Ukraine and Belarus.
At the beginning of April, athletes plan to participate in the World Cup series in Puurs, Belgium.
