Vadim Krasnoselsky receives delegation of Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

President of PMR emphasized that Pridnestrovie was open for contacts and expects good relations with all states wishing peace to the Pridnestrovian land

Tiraspol, February 1. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie's President Vadim Krasnoselsky received the delegation of Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. As the Presidential Press Office reports, the ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Republic of Moldova Lucy Joyce headed the delegation.

"We welcome any actions of Great Britain directed to the improvement of our citizens' living. Not all of the issues we are concerned about are in your competence. But I am firmly convinced that, if desired, You can influence the solution of the problems touching the lives of ordinary people in Pridnestrovie," Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.

President of PMR emphasized that Pridnestrovie was open for contacts and expects good relations with all states wishing peace to the Pridnestrovian land.

"You are right, Great Britain is very interested in Pridnestrovie. Our position in regard to the Moldo-Pridnestrovian relationship is well-known also – we support negotiation process within the 5+2 format. It is the only method working towards the conflict settlement. We will support this process. And the fact that we leave the European Union won't affect it," the British ambassador informed the Pridnestrovie's President. In her opinion, there are favorable conditions for continuation of the discussion on a wide range of problems in the Moldo-Pridnestrovian relations today.
