Tiraspol, 11 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed the Ministry of Education to launch an education reform. According to the president, it should take into account the real needs of the economy, which will significantly improve the situation with regard to the provision of jobs for young specialists.
«[it is necessary] to adopt the system of planned education at all professional and higher education institutions on the basis of the real needs of our economy, which will help us to assign every graduate to a certain workplace by 2020," said Krasnoselsky.
According to the president, many light industry enterprises have a great demand for skilled workers which can be satisfied by secondary specialised colleges if they increase the number of their students. «We must form the education system proceeding from its demands. We say we have a shortage of jobs; I meet the management of light industry factories and they say they have a shortage of workers," said the head of state.
The president also instructed the education authorities to increase the level of educational work at schools, including the organisation of students' excursions to cultural and historical places, meetings with war veterans, first of all, the defenders of Pridnestrovie, as well as Great Patriotic War and Afghan war veterans.
«[It is necessary] not only to invite these defenders once a year on 1 September, but to invite them to basic military training classes, history classes. And the defenders of Pridnestrovie will feel their importance for the state, which will be a great contribution to the ideological training and education of our citizens," said Vadim Krsnoselsky
According to the president, it is necessary to enhance the general level of basic military training and physical education at schools, to organise excursions to military units.
«It is necessary to continue such contests as 'Young Traffic Inspector' and 'Young Patriot of Pridnestrovie'," said the head of state.
