Tiraspol, 10 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Vadim Krasnoselsky has submitted to the Supreme Council amendments to the law «On additional measures aimed at stabilising the economy of the PMR», which is supposed to exempt members of large families from paying entrepreneurial patent fees. The text of the bill is available on the official website of the president. In the event the president's bill is approved, this benefit will apply to members of families with three or more children until the end of 2017.
Under current law such citizens already have the right to pay only 30% of the patent cost. However, according to the president, members of large families, which as a separate category of citizens belong to socially vulnerable segments of the population, do not always have the possibility to pay for the entrepreneurial patent even with the current benefit. «This circumstance is fraught with the republic's difficult socio-economic situation which has not only resulted in a considerable drop in business activities, but also in the reduced total revenues of the Pridnestrovian population," reads the explanatory note to the bill.
Cancelling business patent fees for this category of citizens was one of the provisions of Vadim Krasnoselsky's People's Programme, with which he was nominated for the presidency of the PMR and won the election.
Earlier, the parliament passed another Vadim Krasnoselsky's bill (which is another item on the People's Programme) reducing the size of business patent fees by 50% for production activities and by 30% for trade and services.
Thus, in accordance with the draft law, the estimated level of minimum salary used to calculate the patent fee for entrepreneurs producing goods, works and services will be 4 roubles. And for citizens engaged in retail the estimated level is set at 6 roubles.
