Tiraspol, December 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A regular meeting of the Joint Control Commission was held in Bendery. At the beginning, the delegations confirmed a new JCC representative from Ukraine in office, and the reports on the situation in the Security Zone have also been heard.
The sides continued the dialogue concerning the freedom of movement in the Security Zone.
Commenting on the work results in 2016, the member of the Pridnestrovie's delegation in JCC Vasily Vakarchuk noted that it was a difficult year for the governing body of the peacekeeping operation.
"The year was difficult. We state it with regret, because the work of the JCC was blocked throughout the year. If the work of the governing body of the peacekeeping operation is blocked, it will have huge consequences", - Vakarchuk summarized.
A date of the first JCC meeting in 2017 will be appointed later.
