Tiraspol, 20 October. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The number of National Payment System cards issued by JSC Pridnestrovian Sberbank has exceeded 20,000. This bank joined the NPS in November 2015. 60% of all ATMs accepting NPS cards belong to Sberbank, which has issued over 50% of all cards.
The processing centre, providing the work of the NPS, was launched on 1 June 2015. Eximbank was the initial member of the NPS. Later on, Sberbank and Ipotechny Bank also joined the system. NPS cards can be used to make transactions in all ATMs and payment terminals integrated into the system, regardless of the bank they belong to. The card can also be used in Russia.
