Tiraspol, 10 October. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russia's vice premier Dmitry Rogozin will come to Pridnestrovie on Tueasday. He will visit a school in Tashlyk village, Grigoriopol district, built by ANO Eurasian Integration under Russia's humanitarian aid programme. After that, Rogozin will meet the president of Pridnestrovie, Yevgeny Shevchuk. The vice premier may also talk to Supreme Council members. Today, Dmitry Rogozin arrives in Kishinev, where he will hold working meetings with Moldovan politicians.
During his last visit to Pridnestrovie in June 2016, the Russian vice premier addressed the Supreme Council of the PMR and met the head of the republic, Yevgeny Shevchuk. Rogozin noted then that systemic interagency cooperation had been built between Moscow and Tiraspol in four years. According to him, the Rogozin-Shevchuk protocol of 2013 worked and should be further developed. Rogozin urged the republic's authorities to strengthen relations with Russian regions and announced the launch of a project for the reconstruction of Pridnestrovie's irrigation infrastructure.
Following his visit to Pridnestrovie, the Russian vice premier said that Moscow was satisfied with the current PMR president, Yevgeny Shevchuk.
«He has achieved a great deal for the time that he has ruled Pridnestrovie," said Rogozin in an interview with Russia's Kommersant daily.
