Bendery, August 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Candidates to the Russian State Duma from United Russia party are on a working visit to Pridnestrovie. One of them Oleg Kankov visited several largest enterprises of Bendery, found out more about their work and talked with the staff
Primarily, Bendery residents were interested in the issues concerning receiving the Russian citizenship and employment.
There are 40 thousand potential voters in the city now, each voice can do its bit in the modern history of our republic. If previously only one deputy could represent the interests of Pridnestrovie in the Russian State Duma, then now a chance to be heard in Moscow increases seven times.
«We have already worked there for two days; there will be 7 representatives, more properly those deputies whom you will choose. And it is actually a good chance to put into practice the Pridnestrovians' interests for the solution of a wide scope of problems… 7 people are a whole group of deputies who will be involved in the activities which happen in PMR anyway, they will know and will have to resolve these issues, if people support them," Oleg Kankov told.
He also held a meeting with the deputies of Bendery City Council and the first personal reception of citizens. We will remind, the Russian State Duma Elections will be held on September 18. 5 constituencies will be opened in Bendery.
