Tiraspol, 2 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Yevgeny Shevchuk met his supporters representing various spheres of Rybnitsa's life. As the president's press office reports, the meeting took place in the Municipal House of Culture.
Not once in the course of a dialogue was the head of state thanked for changing Rybnitsa's aesthetic appearance, as well as for enhancing its social and cultural infrastructure. Special gratitude was expressed by teachers for the implementation of the presidential programme «Priority» and large-scale Russian-Pridnestrovian project «Textbook» that helped to replace textbooks in all Russian-language schools. As was noted by one teacher, it is the most considerable investment in the education sphere she has seen throughout her long career.
«Thanks to your mandate and your support, a considerable amount of investments have been made in Rybnitsa, from the diagnostic centre to schools and kindergartens. There is a new polyclinic. Now it is being equipped with a CT-scanner. This enables Rybnitsa residents to pass medical examination at home, in Rybnitsa, without going to Tiraspol, Kishinev or Odessa, as before," said Yevgeny Shevchuk. «The second aspect is the transformation of the city's appearance. Last year, on the republic's 25th anniversary, it was decided to launch projects aimed at enhancing the city's appearance, in the first line, its central street, park and embankment, as well as improving its street lighting.
The president underscored that opening the new pre-school institution is a special event for Rybnitsa. It should be noted that earlier today Rosinka kindergarten No.6 was put in commission. It was built by ANO Eurasian Integration. «For a long time new kindergartens have not been built in the city. The construction of a school is also nearing completion. Another important facility in Rybnitsa is an anti-TB hospital," said Yevgeny Shevchuk.
The president and audience exchanged views on the country's current situation.
«In my opinion, the primary task for the Pridnestrovian leadership is to maintain stability, whichever economic problems may arise. A number of political forces are trying to destabilise the country's domestic situation. If society does not back this destabilisation, stability will be further maintained. And that's what is the most important. The president has not been responding to any information provocations. Though they are constantly provoking, trying to involve […] That is why our task is stability, solely based on which we can seek solutions to economic and social problems," emphasised Yevgeny Shevchuk.
The head of state was also asked to comment the country's outer perimeter situation, including in the negotiation process. «We have witnessed a new political picture in the past two years. Ukraine's situation has changed, so has the attitude towards us. This has been evident regarding the transborder movement of our cargoes and residents, particularly Russian citizens. Never in its history had Pridnestrovie faced such a difficult situation as in 2015, except for the hard times of warfare," said the president. We can see now how tense current relations between Ukraine and Russia are. And these two states are guarantor states in the Pridnestrovian settlement, participants in the 5+2 format. Because of differences in approaches these two important countries apply, there are delays in the 5+2 format. With 400 km of common border and all communications going through its territory, Ukraine is our important neighbour; the Russian Federation is an important strategic partner, maintaining peace here.»
The president focused on the absence of dynamics in the negotiation process over the past a year and a half. «Unfortunately, five premiers have changed in Molodva in four years. Every new team comes with its approaches and attitude to the previously signed documents. And this also complicates the negotiation process," said Yevgeny Shevchuk.
The head of state dwelt on Russain-Pridnestrovian relations. According to him, it was the first time in the PMR's history that the Russian president appointed its special envoy on Pridnestrovie. And it was Russia's vice premier, a high official with a broad spectrum of powers. «This is a substantial contribution to the development of closer communication between Russia and Pridnestrovie. Thanks to this interaction, the whole number of projects are being realised in Pridnestrovie, aiming first of all to support the country's social infrastructure," noted Yevgeny Shevchuk.
A number of other issues were also raised during the meeting. This refers to youth employment, payment of compensations on Soviet deposits and impossibility to watch the First Pridnestrovian TV channel in some locations of the Rybnitsa region. The president announced that the government is already taking measures to solve the latter issue.
Earlier today, the president donated a Volga motor car to an ambulance station of Bolshoy Molokish village to provide first and emergency assistance. The president personally handled the keys of the car to the chief doctor of the station, Neliya Bagrin.
This medical facility provides assistance in five villages: Maly Molokish, Garaba, Stroyentsy and Vadaturkovo.
