Pridnestrovie's delegation meets with Dmitry Loskutov in Moscow

Issues concerning the peacekeeping operation and also the situation in the Security Zone were discussed at the meeting. The sides put special focus on the current state of negotiations between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova

Moscow, May 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie's Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev and cochairman of the Joint Control Commission from Priodnestrovie Oleg Belyakov met with assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia / the Russian President's envoy to Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin Dmitry Loskutov in the capital of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the situation developing around Pridnestrovie with emphasis on some aspects concerning the peacekeeping operation, and also the situation in the Security Zone. In particular, a negative assessment was given to some steps of the Republic of Moldova that is disregard of the existing peacekeeping mechanisms, the Foreign Ministry's press service notes.

Within discussion, the sides put special focus on the current state of negotiations between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. It was noted that the Moldavan side continued to avoid subject and meaningful dialogue at the different levels of the negotiation process.

Also, some topical issues concerning the Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation in different fields, including earlier initiated projects were raised during the meeting.
