Tiraspol, 20 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Answering journalists' questions during the Journalists Invite TV show on First Pridnestrovian President, Yevgeny Shevchuk recalled a number of humanitarian projects implemented at the expanse of the Russian Federation and extra-budget sources, which have turned out to be of vital importance for many Pridnestrovians.

«What has been done in this area is the contribution to the present and future. Despite the very difficult economic situation, it is hard to imagine what we would do without these projects. For example, Tiraspol would be still facing shortages of kindergarten places, a lack of necessary diagnostic equipment, etc. Now the situation has improved. And despite the crisis, we feel reassured thanks to these projects," underscored the president.

He also recalled that Russia is not only realising medical and educational projects, but also assist Pridnestrovian pensioners by paying pension bonuses. Although, according to the president, Russia itself is experiencing difficulties.

«First of all, I want to thank the Russian Federation for its rather quick response to the Pridnestrovian side's proposal to make serious additional investment in healthcare and education. It has been fulfilled, and the country has not seen such large-scale investment in 25 years of its existence," emphasised Yevgeny Shevchuk.

The president also mentioned that humanitarian projects are not being implemented by ANO Eurasian Integration only. Thus, the Tiraspol Diagnostic Centre and the Republican Ambulance Station are expected to be commissioned this year.

«They also have serious social significance and, we hope, will have an effect and influence the provision of medical service, first of all, for Tiraspol residents. We planned to build three diagnostic centres in Tiraspol, Rybnitsa and Bendery so that we could provide all medical services in Pridnestrovie by means of contemporary equipment. We are doing certain work in this area," said the president.

In addition, according to the president, the government will search for additional resources, mainly abroad, to build a diagnostic centre in Bendery.
