Tiraspol, 28 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The International Taekwondo (WTF) Tournament G-1 «Ukraine Open Cup» in Lviv ended on March 27, it is reported on the website of the Pridnestrovie's Sports State Service.
More than 250 athletes from 19 countries of the world, that is from Ukraine, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Israel, Moldova, Latvia, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia, Sweden, Switzerland and France, took part in the competitions.
The Pridnestrovian athlete Sergey Uskov won a silver medal in juniors of weight category up to 59 kg at this tournament.
The national team of Moldova, within which the Pridnestrovian athlete competed, took the third place in overall team rating and yielded the championship only to the home team of the tournament and to the Croatian national team.
