Tiraspol, 21 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting between the Pridnestrovie's Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova Matiash Siladi took place in the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry.
As the Foreign Ministry's Press Service reports, during the conversation the sides discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral interaction between Pridnestrovie and Hungary in the social and humanitarian sphere, including the prospects for implementation of a number of joint cultural projects in the near future.
The two sides also exchanged opinions on the current state of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized the negative factors that cause serious concern in Pridnestrovie, in particular, Moldova’s continuing practice to avoid the systematic interaction with Pridnestrovian representatives at the level of expert (working) groups.
According to the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Minister, such position of the RM prevents successful preparation for the visit of the mediators' representatives and observers within the 5+2 format planned for April, by which the sides had agreed to work out a number of practical proposals to resolve the existing acute problems.
At the same time, as Vitaly Ignatiev noted during the meeting, Moldova continues to strengthen measures to put pressure on Pridnestrovie, which effect the socio-economic situation in the country negatively.
At the end of the meeting the sides agreed to maintain high intensity of contacts on the issues of mutual interest.
