Tiraspol, 25 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Prime Minister Pavel Prokudin says that development of the Pridnestrovie's agriculture can make a good chance for our republic to withstand and keep human potential in the present difficult foreign policy situation.
The Prime-Minister declared it on the air of Radio 1.
"Agriculture provides more prospects for further development of our economy than industry. And again, there are fewer logistical problems in the agricultural sphere. A number of the agribusiness industry branches can be enhanced, and the Government searches now what it is possible to make for support of agricultural producers," Pavel Prokudin told.
According to him, development of the agribusiness industry will also provide new workplaces.
"For example, the republic still lacks good combine operators, however presence of the young agronomists is not unusual any more. Employment of youth is one of the main objectives of the republic's leaders," the Prime Minister emphasized.
As Pavel Prokudin emphasized, he had already ordered the experts to develop a comprehensive retraining program for the workers in order that Pridnestrovians had an opportunity to get new professions in-demand.
