Yevgeny Shevchuk noted that the gas money covered the existing budget deficit.
«The pension fund has fallen short of tax revenues. And the amount of pensions paid today is twice as many as the state can pay. The difference is covered with the gas money. These funds have always been in the account in the central bank," said the president.
The head of state informed the citizens that the day before he had assigned the prosecutor to carry out an audit of the possible facts of inappropriate use of these funds.
