Tiraspol, 19 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A crisis group, which will be formed under the government pursuant to today's presidential decree, will bring leading economists together to work out solutions aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability, said a deputy minister of economic development, Dmitry Boltrushko, in an interview with a Novosti Pridnestrovya journalist.
«The formation of crisis groups will enable economists to work out solutions more appropriate to the current situation rather than exchange opinions at particular hearings. With all restrictions and external pressure, under current economic circumstances we have no cut-and-dried solutions," said the official.
He underscored that experts should not focus today only on short-term anti-crisis measures, but also on the existing economic unbalances, work out expansionary measures.
«Of course, all the states that pursue stimulating fiscal policy have certain reserves. We do not have this reserve. Many countries can make external loans. As an internationally non-recognised state, we cannot contact international organisations to stabilise the economy. Russia, which has helped and is still helping us, is the only exception, but now they also face restrictions in providing assistance," said the deputy minister.
Dmitry Boltrushko underscored that the legislative and executive branches of power must pursue a united economic policy and all their decisions must be strategic.
«All decisions made by the Supreme Council and the government must be harmonised. Only in this case these decisions will be efficient," said Boltrushko.
