Tiraspol, 11 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. More than 150 Orthodox monasteries and churches, publishing houses, artistic, restoration and sewing workshops, including Bendery's St Peter and Paul's Convent, took part at an Orthodox exhibition fair, which took place in Moscow from 23 to 29 December 2015.
The nuns from the St Peter and Paul's Convent visited Moscow’s fair under the auspices of the RISS Dniester-Prut Centre to display their paintings, bead and tissue ware, and other works dedicated to the New Year's holiday and Christmas.
«They were all made by the nuns and novices of the St Peter and Paul's Convent. Several thousand Muscovites and Moscow guests visited the Pridnestrovian exhibition during the work of the fair," said the RISS Dniester-Prut Centre.
It is also emphasised that the works by the Pridnestrovian nuns were given high appreciation by the fair organisers and the Russian citizens who visited the Orthodox fair, and the proceeds from the sale of the goods brought to the fair will be allocated to the restoration and expansion of Bendery's St Peter and Paul's Convent.
