Supreme Council vice speakers elected today

Tiraspol, 23 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. As was reported by Novosti Pridnestrovya, Vadim Krasnoselsky was elected Supreme Council speaker at the first parliamentary session.

The parliament also elected chairman deputies. The election of vice speakers was unanimously decided to conduct by open ballot.

Galina Antyufeyeva and Alexander Shcherba were recommended for the post.

Presenting candidates for the post of Supreme Council vice speakers, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that Alexander Shcherba had experience in presiding over a local council — Tiraspol City Council, and Galina Antyufeyeva headed a parliamentary committee for many years and had good connections with Russia's State Duma.

Alexander Scherba was approved unanimously, and only one vote was cast against Galina Antyufeyeva.
