Tiraspol, 16 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In 2015, 1 minimum salary calculation unit (MSCU) is estimated at 7.1 roubles.
As the deputy finance minister, Dmitry Nedelkov, said on Radio 1, the 2016 draft budget, approved by the government on 10 December, provides for a two-stage wage rise: from 1 January to 1 June 1 MSCU will be 7.3 roubles, and from 1 July to 31 December it is calculated at 7.4 roubles. «That is, the average MSCU will be 7.35 roubles in 2016," said Dmitry Nedelkov.
Besides, the draft budget provides for the expenditures to pay off wage arrears to public sector employees, which amounts to 393 million roubles as of 1 December 2015.
«There are no limits provided for this purpose. Financial backing is unclear so far. The decision on the repayment will be made as soon as funds are received. I predict it won't be single-step repayment. So, if this indebtedness is cleared during 2016, we'll consider it our victory," said the deputy minister.
