The «I'm a Pridnestrovian” festival was launched at the central square of Dubossary. It is dedicated to City Day and the St Praskovia of Serbia dedication day, which are celebrated today.
The residents and guests of Dubossary may visit various entertaining sites, Creating Our Land masterclass, dog show and a concert featuring the orchestra of the Pridnestrovian Armed Forces Chief Staff and performances of creative groups. In the alley 'Do you know that … in Pridnestrovie?' Dubossary residents may also check their knowledge of the Pridnestrovian history and geography.
Every participant in the festival will be able to leave their wishes on special stands and write what being a Pridnestrovian means for them.
The festival is organised by the Pridnestrovian State TV and Radio Company and the State Administration of Dubossary district. The goal of the project «I'm a Pridnestrovian” is preserving and protecting cultural values and ideals of the Pridnestrovian nation, forming citizens' outlook and responsibility for the destiny of their homeland and encouraging patriotic sentiments in the young generation.
