As was noted by Yelena Abrosmova, head of the commercial law chair at Lomonosov Moscow State University, continuing the best traditions of fundamental university education, Shevchenko PSU has gained the right to be regarded as the country's leading university.
«The university's 85th anniversary is not a significant event for Pridnestrovie only, but also for many states that are interested in the development of science and education. Some of our graduates are now part of the PSU teaching staff. And this is our honour that the Pridnestrovian university is staffed with such brilliant scientific brainpower," said Yelena Abrosimova.
The Russian guest also noted that Russian universities opening their thesis boards for defending candidate and doctoral theses and are ready for new research and educational projects. «Moreover, we now have a special educational policy for those who are ready to continue their professional growth and educational projects for the benefit of their states," said the Moscow university professor.
While congratulating university teachers and students, the pro-rector on information and general subjects of Bryansk State Technical University, Vitaliy Shkaberin, noted that 35 PSU graduates have also graduated from the Bryansk university and got degrees in «highly demanded specialities.»
«These are 'Information Protection', 'System of Automated Design', 'Innovatics', and we hope the number of our common graduates will be increasing from year to year," added the Bryansk university pro-rector.
In his turn, the deputy executive director of the Russian World Foundation, Sergey Shurygin, said that the foundation attaches special significance PSU activities.
«We have been following with interest your achievements. For many years we have been closely cooperating in the sphere of education and culture. The Russian Centre, opened at the university under the auspices of the foundation in 2009, is active in popularising Russian language, science, history and culture. Soon the Russian Centre branches will be opened in Bendery and Rybnitsa. The foundation is going to further support projects in educational and humanitarian spheres worked out by either teachers or students of your university," underscored Sergey Shurygin.
