This year, Pridnestrovie's rower Alexey Korovashkov (ref. photo), within the Russian national team, has won a silver medal and became a five-time world champion in the first European Games in Baku.
Vladislav Oleynikov, the prize-winner of the last year's world championship and the Youth Olympic Games, succeeds in his age category under 19 years; next year, he proceeds to the senior age group, i.e. youth category.
The Olympic champion Alexander Dyachenko is the second in the top list, Vasily Pogreban is on the 4th position.
Rower Vladislav Chebotar from Tiraspol also broke into this rating and achieved the 11th place. He showed an excellent performance in the adult national team, as he create a sensation winning a title of a European champion in canoe-fours.
Oleg Shurinkin and Dmitry Sichinsky are in the first ten of the youth category, Alexey Protsanov and Sergei Filin — in juniors.
For the first time, Pridnestrovie's women athletes Alyona Verbina and Aleksandra Onufriyenko got in the top list, however they are in places in 3rd and 4th tens for now.
