«Following the request of Pridnestrovie's government, as part of legislative necessity, the law 'On introduction of the Tax Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic' is submitted to the Supreme Council and shall be considered within 7 working days of the submission date," says the decree.
It is recalled that the proposed taxation system includes a value-added tax, legal entity real estate tax and a profit tax. Besides, the Tax Code provides for the transition to a new tax system for individual businessmen, which is analogous to that in Russia.
The classic taxation system, experts say, suggests fairer distribution of tax burden, whereas in the current system, for example, industry taxes are much higher than those in trade.
«This classic taxation system will contribute to the investment climate in our republic because we will join the common tax field with the organisations and countries we cooperate with," said Natalya Sokolova, a deputy minister of economic development.
