Pridnestrovie's Foreign Affairs Ministry commented on the statement of the Romanian Ambassador to RM

Before that, Marius Lazurka declared that Pridnestrovie's businessmen sent "certain signals" to Kishinev and Bucharest, and as he noted, it can be regarded as readiness of Pridnestrovie to participate in the EU-Moldova Association and Free Trade Area Agreement

The Romanian Ambassador to Moldova told it in his interview to the Romanian Hotnews News Agency.

«We get such signals. They are not formal, they are still not public, I don't believe that they will be revealed soon for some reasons of the domestic policy in the separatist region, but it is quite clear that Pridnestrovie's businessmen want to get a benefit of the DCFTA after January 1, 2016," Lazurka speaks.

Also, the Romanian politician declared that, «step by step, Romania tries to resolve an issue concerning the reintegration of Pridnestrovie within the internationally recognized territory of Moldova».

Pridnestrovie's Foreign Affairs Ministry commented on the statement of the Romanian Ambassador to RM for The Parliamentary Newspaper.

«It is difficult to discuss such statements, voiced by a high-ranking diplomat of a de jure European country. We are truly surprised with the fertile imagination of Mr. Lazurka and that he allegedly had informal contacts. In this context, we believe that certain 'signals' caught by Mr. Lazurka are very likely to come from other countries, but not from Pridnestrovie anyway," it is told in the comment of the Pridnestrovie's foreign policy department.

«Our viewpoint concerning the so-called new EU-Moldova trade regime is well-known. The decision was made despite the fact that the existing conflict was still unsettled and without regard to the Pridnestrovie's interests. Such actions carry serious threats to the economic stability of Pridnestrovie. We are in touch with our European partners in search of an interaction form considering mutual interests of the sides. At the same time, we are very surprised how Romania could suddenly become a participant of a bilateral dialogue between Pridnestrovie and the European Union and the more so how this country referred to the Moldova-Pridnestrovie reconciliation process," Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry noted and added that they were «impressed with the progress of the Romanian diplomacy in 'rapprochement of two banks of Dniester', but in reality Romania had never come across that phenomenon».
