Pridnestrovie's freshmen matriculated at Russian Customs Academy

This year the State Customs Committee has sent 20 persons to study at the Russian academy

The Pridnestrovians, who will study at the Saint Petersburg branch of Russian Customs Academy, were presented with student cards along with their peers from Russia and CIS countries. Traditionally, the solemn ceremony took place on Knowledge Day in the Marble Hall in the Russian Ethnographic Museum.

Apart from student cards, the students were given a hand book For You, Freshman, which gives answers to many questions about the academy.

This year the Saint Petersbourg branch of RCA have admitted 307 internal students (to customs, law and economy departments). Among them are 20 students of the customs department who come from Pridnestrovie. They all went through a preliminary competition held by a SCC special commission.

According to the SCC press service, this July the Customs Committee held a peculiar experience exchange forum between RCA students from Pridnestrovie and those who was only preparing to matriculate at the academy. The meeting organised by the committee leadership was held to involve the beginners into the community of Pridnestrovian RCA students.
