Today, a new building of Pridnestrovian University medical department has been inaugurated in Tiraspol. It was built as part of humanitarian programme of ANO Eurasian Integration. During the inauguration ceremony there was a teleconference between Russia's vice premier, Dmitriy Rogozin, and Pridnestrovie's leadership, Eurasian Integration representatives, university students and lecturers.
According to the co-founder of ANO Eurasian Integration, Aleksey Zhuravlyov (a State Duma deputy, ed.), «students may well study in this building.»
«This is actually a medical centre. There will be a lab and diagnostic equipment," noted Zhuravlyov. He also expressed the view that the implementation of this project «will help to train highly qualified specialists.»
In his turn, Pridnestrovie's president, Yevgeny Shevchuk, specially pointed out that it was a system solution to build medical facilities. «It included along with medical institutions the construction of a medical department building, where Pridnestrovian doctors would be trained, using up-to-date technologies and methods," said the president.
Making a report on the construction of facilities through ANO Eurasian Integration, Aleksey Zhuravlyov added that the new medical department is part of an integrated medical complex within Republican Clinical Hospital, where a chemotherapy building will also be commissioned by the end of the year.
In the course of the teleconference, the Russian President's special envoy on Pridnestrovie, Dmitriy Rogozin, highlighted the importance of retaining specialists in the republic.
«It is important that educational institutions ensure a quality education for Pridnestrovie's youth, that you stay in the republic not only out of patriotic feelings, but also because your knowledge is required here," concluded the Russian vice premier.
On the eve of Pridnestrovie's 25th anniversary, Eurasian Integration is also commissioning a kindergarten and a building of anti-tuberculosis department in Rybnitsa. The new objects built through the cooperation with the Russian NGO are commissioned every quarter. By the end of 2015 the organisation plans to commission the majority of objects (14 altogether, ed.), which are being actively built at the moment, except for a building of Tiraspol's perinatal centre.
