It's important to note that the representatives of the Moldova's and Pridnestrovie's railways and Pridnestrovie's Customs also participated in the meeting.
«The Pridnestrovian side noted the deterioration in the situation of economic actors who used the mechanisms worked out in 2012. We also noted a violation of at least three provisions of the Protocol Decision signed by the leadership of the parties and renewed annually. Now, unfortunately, this mechanism is broken. Consequences are obvious to us,” Nina Shtanski emphasized.
The head of the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry reminded that a number of the Pridnestrovie's enterprises has already suffered losses for hundreds of thousands USD.
«If we don't return to the original variant, to the status quo, that is, to the normal functioning of the protocol decision, the cooperation itself in this field will be under threat. We have the impression that the Moldovan partners are ready to prevent the failure of this mechanism," Nina Shtanski told.
The diplomat also told about the reached agreement, i.e. the RM authorities would consider the possible revocation of «those actions and those telegrams that were given by the Moldovan railway to the Ukrainian railway to ensure that the station-export «Slobodka” works in the previous way».
According to Nina Shtanski commenting on this issue, there could be «failures in relations between the parties at the level of experts». «Perhaps, something isn’t harmonized, or we don't receive all information about the taken measures. But we hope that the Moldovan side will take steps for prevention of the situation deterioration in the shortest time possible," Nina Shtanski told.
One of the regular meetings between the expert (working) groups on issues concerning the railway communication from Pridnestrovie and Moldova took place yesterday. The meeting took place in the office of the OSCE Mission in Kishinev according to the agreement reached during the meeting between the political agents on August 13. At the meeting, the parties discussed a problem concerning the unilateral change made by Moldova and Ukraine to the technological scheme of rail traffic through the territory of Pridnestrovie on the road section «Slobodka-Rybnitsa» causing considerable financial losses to the enterprises located in the north.
