The traditional mourning events dedicated to the fallen defenders of Pridnestrovie and victims of the armed conflict will take place across the republic.
Today, the programme of events dedicated to Republican Remembrance Day was discussed in the Tiraspol State Administration. According to the executive secretary of the administration, Alexander Zapasnyi, on 1 August a requiem meeting will take place at Tiraspol's Glory Memorial, after that those who wish may attend the cemeteries where the defenders are buried.
A day earlier, 31 July, Tiraspol's House of Culture will host a memorial evening which all are welcome to attend.
«On 1 August, the Tiraspol Joint Museum and the Central Municipal Library will hold thematic exhibitions dedicated to Remembrance Day," said the deputy mayor for social affairs, Natalya Shchukina.
