A meeting between Pridnestrovie’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Acting Head of the British Embassy to Moldova Neil Martin took place in the Pridnestrovie’s Foreign Ministry.
Welcoming the guests, the Pridnestrovian diplomat noted the high level of bilateral relations between Pridnestrovie and the British side in terms of humanitarian projects, cultural and educational initiatives. Vitaly Ignatiev also thanked the guests for their continued interest in the country. «We welcome the commitment of the British side to maintain direct bilateral contacts and receive information on the current situation at first hand,' the diplomat said.
During the meeting, the representatives of the British Embassy informed about the project initiatives planned for implementation in the near future. In addition, the sides discussed a number of topical issues of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting, Vitaly Ignatiev expressed his hope for further constructive cooperation with the British side, the Foreign Ministry's Press Service reports.
