The decorative lighting has been also installed at the five-storeyed buildings in Suvorov St at the entrance to the city.
«These LED lamps are durable, water- and moisture-proof. They are anti-vandal and very efficient. There is almost no difference between energy-saving and fluorescent lamps, whereas LED lamps are ten times more efficient," underscored the aesthetic lighting expert, Vladimir Uzhakin.
By the 25th anniversary of the republic the following memorial places in Bendery will have been equipped with aesthetic lighting: open-air museum, military glory monument and memorial to the fallen in 1992.
The city will have faced one more transformation by the anniversary: the square near the marketplace will be enlarged and equipped with a car park.
