Pridnestrovie's representatives remind that this problem can only be solved within the negotiation process, but not within the peacekeeping operation. At the same time, the Moldovan side refuses to pass on the other important questions, such as approval of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces' main activities plan.
«Senior military commanders of the peacekeeping forces cannot obey a one and the same document. They don't have common plans and tasks. It is a very bad tendency of this year. A legitimate question arises, for what does the Moldovan side needs it?» the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov commented on the meeting.
Also, Oleg Belyakov noted that Joint Peacekeeping Forces work effectively, and the situation remains stable and controllable in the Security Zone.
