Ukraine and Moldova have imposed a blockade on Pridnestrovie because they are «infuriated» by the way the republic has built its model of mutual understanding in the society. That is what Russia's State Duma deputy, Vyacheslav Nikonov, said in the Evening chat show on Russia 1.
According to him, over two decades Moldavians, Russians, Ukrainians and other nationalities have lived peacefully in Pridnestrovie.
«Pridnestrovie is the example of moulding life in a complex society. Russians, Ukrainians, Moldavians and Bulgarians live there and feel at home. This is an amazing place: they managed to build a very good viable model, and that is what infuriates the neighbouring states that cannot do the same under far less difficult circumstances," said Nikonov.
