Address to the Russian president Vladimir Putin was signed at the meeting of Tiraspol Public Council today

«Opinions of the civic organizations vary. Someone considers that, due to such circumstances, Russia should take urgent measures and recognize Pridnestrovie; others say that Russia should reinforce its peacekeeping forces in the republic. However, everyone agrees that there should be peace in Pridnestrovie in order that we could develop our economy," the chairman of Pridnestrovie's Moldavans Union Valerian Tulgara noted during the conversation with journalists.

«We ask the Russian president as the guarantor of peace for support, and we hope for preservation of peaceful skies above our republic," Victoria Kokoreva expressed a standpoint of the Pridnestrovie's Russian Communities Union.

«In order to prevent the warfare and the Moldova-Pridnestrovie conflict unfreezing, we ask you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, to take all possible measures: diplomatic, political and economic. And if it is necessary, we ask you to protect the people of Pridnestrovie and to recognize the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. We are a part of the Russian world!» it is told in the address of the Pridnestrovie's civic organizations to Vladimir Putin.

According to the available information, only in Tiraspol and Bendery, the address to the Russian president was subscribed by more than 60 civic organizations. Social activists decided to ask the Head of State Yevgeny Shevchuk to deliver the letter from civic organizations to the President of the Russian Federation.
