After the season's end within the Moldova football championship, the management and the founders of the capital FC Tiraspol decided to liquidate professional activity of a club, it is reported in the communiqué published on the official site of the team on Tuesday, May 26.
«Tiraspol» won't be claimed for the Europa League and also for the Moldova Championship. The contracts with all football players, coaches and administrative staff will be cancelled," it is noted in the announcement on the club's website.
The reasons of the club liquidation weren't called in the communiqué
Football Club Saxan from Chadyr-Lunga (follows Tiraspol club in standings) will play in the next draw of Europa League instead of the FC Tiraspol, Sputnik Moldova reports with reference to the press attaché of the Moldovan Football Federation Victor Dagui.
Dagui also reported that the Saxan's home stadium fails to meet the UEFA requirements, due to this fact the club will have to choose one of the stadiums eligible to receive competitions under the auspices of the European Football Association and to conclude a contract with it for the Eurocup period. The football arena of the Sheriff Sport Center is among such stadiums.
