In interview to Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency Director of the enterprise Vsevolod Lavrentyev told that it was the second release dedicated to the Great Victory anniversary. The first issue was released on the eve of the holiday — on May 8.
«This is an extension of the series. The first part was printed in Bendery by the Poligrafist enterprise; the today's issue was printed in Minsk. It includes 6 stamps featuring photos of the Great Patriotic War period, including the stills of 1941 Moscow parade, Tiraspol parade on May 9, different branches of armed forces, photos of the women in the Great Patriotic War," Vsevolod Lavrentyev told.
Stamp block edition — 700 pieces, the topical edition — 2 800 pieces.
«On the eve of May 9, we didn't receive this series even though the project was prepared in February. The rest of the time was spent on delivery, due to the current situation. Military theme always arouses heightened interest among the collectors. The theme is connected with Russia where our main collectors live; I think that the issue will be popular. Stamps can be purchased by mail, in the shop «Filateliya» or addressing directly to «Marka Pridnestrovya», the director of the enterprise concluded.
«Marka Pridnestrovya» plans to issue their new production, i.e. the topicals named «National Dances», «Children's Toys», «Fish of Pridnestrovie» and «50 Years Anniversary of Humanity’s First Spacewalk». The virtuosity will see them this summer.
