Governor of Odessa Oblast: There isn't any threat from Pridnesrovie

The governor of Odessa Oblast Igor Palitsa told about it in his interview to the UNIAN.

«A week after my appointment as the head of the Regional State Administration, I went to Tiraspol and met with the Pridnestrovie's President Yevgeny Shevchuk there. Shevchuk assured that Pridnestrovians aren't going to destabilize the situation in the Odessa Oblast, and we may be patient," Palitsa told.

Igor Palitsa emphasized that he didn't see any threat from Pridnestrovie, on the contrary, in his opinion, Pridnestrovians are afraid of radical public mood in Ukraine.

Also, according to Igor Palitsa, the military defenses at the Ukraine-Pridnestrovie border aren't constructed to deal with the possible military threat, but to fight against smuggling.
