President Yevgeny Shevchuk told it during the live talk-show of the Pridnestrovie's First Channel.
«We always supported the dialogue both with Kishinev and Kiev in order to discuss and solve the problems of pressing. We have many contradictions in economy, with movement of citizens, the capital flow. If we don't solve these problems it will be impossible to establish the climate of trust. With this, we will be able to solve more complex political problems," Yevgeny Shevchuk emphasized.
According to the Head of State, the Moldavan side displays willingness to discuss the questions raised by Pridnestrovie, but, unfortunately, we cannot find mutually acceptable solutions for the most of questions.
«But we have some small steps which put a number of problems in motion and we hope that this dynamics will become stronger and extend in other directions» — the President noted.
Yevgeny Shevchuk also emphasized that Pridnestrovie’s foreign policy course hadn't changed, the republic always gravitates toward Russia and the Eurasian Union, however it has to develop the economic relations not only with the CIS, but also with the EU.
«The markets of Belarus and Kazakhstan are attractive for our production, because, first of all, we have relevant agreements with the Russian Federation; however, we can't cross the Ukraine territory without Moldovan documents. At the same time, we want to trade with the European market, because it is near. But the agreements between the Moldavan side and the EU ignore the interests of our industrial enterprises. If we begin to implement this agreement, many of our enterprises will disappear. To find a compromise solution, we need good will of all sides, not only of Pridnestrovie. We hope that, till the end of 2015, we will reach some compromise, perhaps, temporary ones, with the European representatives who will ease the situation for our economic agents. We have to unblock both the economic activity and the transport logistics," — the Head of State Yevgeny Shevchuk told.
