OSCE office in Kishinev hosted a meeting on issues of transport and road facilities development between Moldova's and Pridnestrovie's expert (working) groups on March 24 for the first time this year
During the meeting, the parties discussed the questions concerning the international traffic of vehicles having the Pridnestrovie's registration including the civil passenger traffic between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, the Foreign Ministry's press service reports.
The experts of both parties analysed the violations of the established mechanisms for issuing permits to the Pridnestrovie's haulers. They also confirmed the absence of any new requirements for the Pridnestrovie's transport companies carrying out international passenger transportation.
At the request of Moldova's representatives, the Pridnestrovie's experts provided information about some aspects concerning the Pridnestrovie's compulsory liability insurance of the motor vehicles registered in the RM.
The parties agreed to continue their cooperation in the issues of mutual interest.
