"The budget has received 713 million rubles of tax revenue since the beginning of 2015 that is 136 million less, than during the same period of 2014. Besides, more than 1 billion rubles were allocated to the financing of such social expenditure items as salaries and pensions since the beginning of the current year," the Prime Minister told.
Tatyana Turanskaya emphasized that the main reason for the republican budget revenue shortcoming is considerable reduction of the customs duty payments. As compared to the previous year, these payments were reduced by 90 million rubles, so today they are equal to only one third of the results of the same period in 2014.
"The Government continues to monitor the activities of the large industrial enterprises as the main taxpayers to the budget. According to its results, we can see the reduction of industrial outputs and this tendency is preserved since January of the current year. It also caused the budget revenue shortcoming and the export and import reduction," the First Deputy Prime Minister Maya Parnas noted. "If such tendency be preserved, the Government expects the unfunded budget deficiency in social items of about 1 billion rubles to the end of 2015."
It was emphasized at the meeting that being in such a difficult economic situation it was important to support the republic's enterprises so that they could keep workplaces during the crisis and work without the production suspension, the President's Press Office reports.
It was also talked about the government's liability on the social budget items at the meeting.
"The debt has amounted to about 16 million rubles in such budget items expenditures as food and medicines since January, 2015.
