The deal was reached during the meeting between the Pridnestrovie's President Evgeny Shevchuk and the Moldova's Prime Minister Kirill Gaburich in Kishinev
Both leaders noted the importance of this document.
To be noted that the legal act "About the principles of fully functional freight railway communication renewal through the Pridnestrovie's territory" of March 30, 2012 was extended by the Pridnestrovie's President and the Moldova's Prime Minister remotely in fax in December of the last year. Then, the additional protocol to the legal act "About the principles of fully functional freight railway communication renewal through the Pridnestrovie's territory" of March 30, 2012 was signed. The document provided the extension of the mechanism functioning till April 1, 2015.
Then, the Pridnestrovie's party initiated the extension of the legal act for a termless period, because it had proved its successfulness and economic efficiency.
As the Pridnestrovie's President Evgeny Shevchuk noted during the press conference, in general, the Pridnestrovie's party estimates the results of the meeting positively.
"First of all, there is a certain result, i.e. the signing of the agreement concerning the rail transportation. We hope that agreements concerning some other questions will be also reached," the Pridnestrovie's President emphasized.
He reminded that the meeting took place in such format for the first time in a year and a half.
"There are a lot of challenging issues which should be solved within the relevant working groups," Evgeny Shevchuk told.
"It is very important to promote the economic activity and to establish trust for the further work," the Moldova's Prime Minister Kirill Gaburich told.
Today, the agreement concerning the final takedown of the cable haulage between the cities of Rybnitsa and Rezina was reached.
