The Moldova’s party stonewalls the decisions corresponding to the JMC's (Joint Military Command) reports

Regular Joint Control Commission’s session took place today

Despite the adopted session's agenda already including 52 items for today, the JCC's members still cannot proceed to their consideration yet. Still a stumbling block there is a question of a freedom of movement of citizens in the Safety zone on which consideration in an extraordinary order the Moldavian party insists. At the same time the decision on reports of the Joint military command on a situation in the Safety zone and on some other the important questions connected with functioning of peacekeeping operation is still not made.

"It is obvious that the Moldova’s party still doesn't want the JCC's solutions to take legal forms, i.e. some proper act saying that the Joint Control Commission is really working," the JCC's cochairman in Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov voiced his opinion.

During the today's meeting, the Moldova's delegation stonewalls even the consideration of an organizational issue. As a result, the new representative of the OSCE Mission wasn't introduced to the Joint Control Commission.

"The Moldova's party blocked his appointment. When such a reputable organization as the OSCE Mission introduces its military representatives and the Moldova's party blocks the work starting from the organizational issue of the agenda, it is already an outrageous situation," Oleg Belyakov noted.

He noted that the Pridnestrovie's party continued to make efforts for the dialogue normalization within JCC.
